here are some more info:

image width: 640 pixels
image height: 258 pixels

audio bit rate: 160kbps
audio format: mpeg layer-3

video frame rate: 25 frames/second
video sample size: 24 bit
video compression: divx 5.0.5 codec

i'm trying to play it from xbox hd and it's the only movie which has this problem (but it's also the only movie over 2 gb).

correct, mplayer (which xbmc video playback engine is based upon) does not support opendml avi, more info on this found here (link)
