Keymap not working...
#1
So, in the process of trying to adapt my Xbox1 controller to the PC, I started hacking apart my keymap.xml file to get it more accurate. Unfortunately, none of the changes are being recognized by xbmc.

Either I botched the file somewhere (syntax checkers say it's fine), or I'm putting it in the wrong dir. Is the default folder still program files/xbmc/userdata, or is there a seperate location where working system files are kept?

Here is the pastebin of my keymap file. The basic idea is to map EVERY controller button to a corresponding keyboard button and then tell xpadder which keyboard button to press.

Controller Button Keyboard Button
A A
B B
X X
Y Q
Black U
White T
Start S

Something like that. It's a little messy right now, as I stopped to test it and noticed nothing was working.

Pastebin file:

Any help would be much appreciated!

Keymap.xml is located in the System folder. DO NOT MESS WITH THAT!
instead make a copy of it to userdata that contains ONLY your changes.
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules.

Edit:

Aha...didn't see the link over the cellphone. Copied to the documents and settings/(user)/application data/xbmc/userdata/ and it worked like a charm.
