Im using this release from jester XBMC pre 9.04 SVN 18257.

Did you try any of the suggestions I posted? (Look up 1 post above yours..) I listed 3 that worked for me under specific conditions.. (I can't take credit for 2 of them that I found searching xbmc forum but I do provide a nice summary of my testing.)

Hi can I just ask, has this fix been added into the main Babylon release or do I still need a copy of the SVN?? Thanks.

Just wanted to pass along, I am using XP SP3 at 1920x1080p on an Intel Quad w/G35 chipset. I had this particular vsync/tearing issue until 12/9 when 9.11 Beta2 released. I've since downloaded and installed 9.11 RC1 and still having no problems with video playback. Thanks XBMC devs! Anyone else plagued by this one should d/l the latest build and give it a test run!
