So I have a large number of tv shows with randomly named files and when I scan thetvdb a bunch of stuff get's missed.

I know the files have to be named in a specific way. Is there any tools out to help me do this a little quicker?

Something along the lines of Mp3 Tag&Rename but for video.

All you will need, provided the TV show name and episode/season numbers are somewhere in the filename. Drag and drop your whole TV folder onto the program, and let it do the rest.

Then for fanart/posters, etc., use movie info plus.

I did my own google searching like a big boy after finding that rename app hardly worked with any of my file names.

I came across this renamer http://www.bulkrenameutility.co.uk/Download.php

I have just been manually naming all of my files show.s01e01 and it is going pretty fast doing it on my own. Probably just as quick as any of the automated tools since the naming schemes are mixed.

I think once I have them all named to the same scheme it should be easy to go back and add episode titles using the renamer
