How to get write access on the wiki?
#1
Anyone know how to get write acess on the wiki? I'd like to fill out this page (http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=The_XBMC_Database) with column descriptions (i.e. episode.c08 is the IsWatched column, etc). I've been asking in #xbmc on freenode since yesterday, and can't get a response there...

(I started poking around the tables trying to fix the problem from this thread: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=43407)

Register an account on the wiki then ask for ninja status for that account Wink

Quote:All users who wish to continue providing a valid contribution to the XBMC Online Manual, please contact a member of Team-XBMC and ask for "Ninja" status on the wiki to get full write access, (the easiest way to get in touch is via #XBMC on freenode IRC network), thank you for understanding. I got that far. I already registered an account (nmrs). Question is, how or where or to whom does one "ask for ninja status"?

I've been asking since yesterday in #xbmc on freenode and no one responds to me.

Thanks. I edited this page:

It's not complete, but captures as far as I got. I'll try and finish it up, but have a meeting now. Also, is there a style guide or anything? The style I chose, "wikitable sortable", which I found here (http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Table) doesn't seem to be recognized)

I'd go a little easy on the headers, each table does not need to be a heading (makes for an enormous TOC).
