i have several directories on my shared smb drive that contain only shortcuts to .mp3 and .m3u files.
an example:
z:\velvet revolver\velvet revolver\01 - sucker train blues.mp3
is a shortcut to
z:\uberized rips\velvet revolver - velvet revolver\01 - sucker train blues.mp3
of course, xmbc can access the latter fine. when accessing the first link/shortcut, nothing happens. is there a way to allow access to shortcuts over a smb share, or is this a hard limitation to xp, sharing, etc.?
