XBMC not deriving watched status from .nfo files

Thanks!

I second this request. I'm in dire need of re-scanning in my library and the loss of watched status has kept me from doing it. I would love to know how to do it.

It's pretty easy just to add a new profile and experiment to your hearts content.
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules.
For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first.

Is there any solution to a watched status?
If not would it be possible through a addon/plugin? I think that it would be a nice feature as I believe it will help alot of people who need to rescan, reinstall xbmc (virus in windows or similiar). Its a pain in the a** to do all over, espicially when you got 200+ movies and 20+ series, when it could be made as easy as to write to a nfo or another file.
