Im not sure why, I think that it has to do something with the requirement of the thumbnails of the movies, but my XBMC system crashes when ever I try to view movie Info ("I" Key). i have installed other versions of the XBMC before and this feature has worked, I dont know why it is happening now.

I using a custom build of XBMC by Jasper that allows for External Player Playback, and i have DLed the newest version of Aeon from the site today. This only happens with Aeon and it happens every time I try it.

I also used the application "Big PNG" creator, but i think the problem is that i dont have movie.tbn files in my Movie Folders, is there anyway to generate these also.

Hello,

I have exactly the same issue on few latest svn builds (on Arch Linux). When I set font "AEON_DEFAULT" movie info works OK. When I set AEON_POLISH fontset XBMC crash on movie info. This is happen on all Aeon Skin mods.

Update:

I found solution, when i rename all CE fonts to default names, and set font to "AEON_DEFAULT" in settings - everything works, i have my native language (PL) and fonts.

Hey Guys,

I have the same thing happening but with the Transperency! skin. If theres no thumbnail availible for the movie, XBMC crashes and restarts.

This has happened both with lastest SVN and the 9.11 alpha.

If anyone needs more info i'll post debug.

Having a similar issue... When using the Aeon (also tried Aeon65 and Hitcher) skin, XBMC crashes when entering anything from the main menu (such as TV Shows, Movies, Settings...)

I have the same problem when entering the Movie Info.
@b4sh: Can you explain your solution? I don't know what fonts do you mean... And what is the default name?

The "solution" no longer works with latest xbmc. Aeon is very buggy skin, not working with recent xbmc builds (stable or svn).

Now I use Transparency. I know, this is not perfect skin, but all xbmc features works with it.

Just rename the file format from .jpg to .tbn
I would suggest anyone using Aeon to grab one of the newer modded versions as there much more stable and feature rich.
