xbmc.org Goes Back in Time?

Sorry for the melodramatic title. It appears that the main page has reverted back to around summer of last year. The posts are all outdated, and the layout is missing several of the features added since then.

is logging in to trac not sticking more than one session (or a really short time) related?

Related to vdrfan restarting the damn httpd so often I imagine. Wink

No, httpd isn't related to trac (it's has it's own server), d4rk and I installed a plugin for trac to remember your login for 7days.. maybe this plugin is disabled. Anyway a plugin for remembering login forever would be better in my pow.

This constant having to login in to trac is tiresome.

Will someone fix it.

There's a script running that restarts trac whenever it hangs up (which seems to be hourly). No trac plugin is going to fix that. Fact is, trac sucks for large projects with large user bases. We should've researched it more thoroughly before switching. There are some real solutions to try, but getting all the right people together to get it done is always a task.

I wonder how vlc (http://trac.videolan.org/vlc/) manages (they use git with trac nowadays), they have a larger user base I believe.

Probably a dedicated more powerful box for trac...
