Yeah, it's a pretty good site...It's good for finding images to use as a basis for fanart when nothing else can be found.

BDPNA Wrote:Can someone answer a really dumb question for me that I just can't find anywhere else?
If I want to manage my own artwork and extrathumbs (thumb, extrathumb, and fanart), what is the folder/location and hierarchy for all 3 of them? Naming convention? Etc...I know I can manually select fanart and thumb in the interface but not these, so I may as well do it all manually. What's the proper location and naming convention?
BDPNA Wrote:Just what I needed. Thanks. I'm using Plex on a Mac Mini, doesn't look like that can allow me to manage my own Fanart -- Or am I mistaken?
I tried both just the name fanart.jpg in the film's folder, and also Filmname-fanart.jpg and no dice.
It would be nice to manually manage all this stuff for those rare cases where I need to reformat or lose the library for some reason (or move files around, etc).
RisenGryn Wrote:Ok, dumb question. how do I "install" these thumbs ?You're movie library needs to be organized so each film is in its own folder. Then create a folder named "extrathumbs" (without quotes) in each. Place the images in that folder, named "thumb1.jpg", "thumb2.jpg" etc.
Thanks
