#91
Yea we have quite a few sources of internet channels. In the time since this screenshot was created, we've added several more, such as PlayOn and IpTV and ITV UK!

We have a new release up with completely revised Chromecast support, allowing you to cast MediaBrowser/Kodi content to Chromecast from your chrome browser, ios or Android.

We've added some nice displays on the Chromecast side to really help make it stand out, and perhaps best of all subtitles without transcoding!.

We have a new release up:

http://mediabrowser.tv/community/index.p...-released/

It adds a special new Cinema Mode to the server that allows you to play trailers before the main features. It is currently supported in nearly all of our apps, and will be supported by the remaining ones with the coming weeks.

We've also added support for importing watched data from NFO's:

Lastly, we've announced a new Android developer library:

http://mediabrowser.tv/community/index.p...libraries/

It is full java-based API wrapper. We are hoping to encourage new people to either build new apps, or help us with some of our own upcoming android projects (fire tv, android tv, etc).

We have a new release up that adds more Kodi-centric features.

The server now supports .STRM files, which has been requested by many Kodi users. Also we're fully up to date with all of your Nfo conventions.

We've also added a new Connect feature that allows you to sign into apps using forum credentials, and then you don't have to know your server's ip address

And new parental control features to allow you to define access schedules for your kids

And quite a few other goodies like automatic camera uploading to your server from mobile devices. It's quite a big release.

Would have been a nice addition to my KODI-setup. So I installed it and enabled "archive" option under library. Still when I surf from my ipad or computer to media browser it does not play/stream my movies/tvshows which are in split up archives. They are actually not compressed but rather stored. XBMC plays them just fine!
Whats up with this? Is support for playing archives on its way or does it already work but something is wrong on my setup?

Hi there,
I have been using webdav to stream server contents to different devices, but most of the time content will not play because of the bandwidth not being enough.
I take it Mediabrowser will transcode, so no problems here.

One question: can I add a mediabrowser folder as source so I can then browse it directly in the library?
I hate the idea of having to open the addon to browse the library...

@grumpygamer: http://emby.media/community/index.php?/t...beta-repo/

that will connect to the emby server and allow you to play content directly (LAN) or transcode (WAN)

I'm trying to do the same but this link is not working, is there anything else I can do?
