Hi there, first of all wonderful job with the add-on, works like a charm!
But I'm having problems with the subtitles, not even sure if this is actually a problem caused by the add-on or somewhere else, but I think it is the right place to ask - here we go:
Some Subtitles are working, some are not, for example "East Enders" Subtitles are working, "Sherlock" Subtitles are not. I tried to figure out why with debug log and all that stuff but in the end that didn't help me at all, so I looked into the XML Sourcefiles for the Subtitles and I think there is the problem, different file formats. Check this out:
East Enders (Working Subtitles):
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/subtitles/n...317001.xml
Sherlock (Not working Subtitles):
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/subtitles/n...734545.xml
So, now I am stranded. As I can see, the East Enders Subtitles are complying the BBC Standards found here http://www.bbc.co.uk/guidelines/futureme...ting.shtml and the Sherlock Subtitles are not. Whose fault is it? Why is BCC delivering Subtitles not following their own Standards?
And the - for me - most imporatant question: Is there something that can be done? If so, what?
Any answers, hints, insights are appreciated.
Kind regards,
Alex
