When I scrape one of my network shares XBMC crashes with error status: 10. I removed the one network share that crashes and added my other to see if it would also crash and that one worked fine.

Humm, maybe crashing on some filename. Check your "funny" network share and see if there are any files with non-ascii chars in them.
