On the first page of this thread, I noted that you need XBMC rev21803 or higher. Older builds had problems with audio and the streams crashing.

Sorry stacked, my bad! I have reinstalled so many times today with different versions I forgot the most obvious thing! :o

Oh, I forgot about that site. I'll check it out later. I'm probably just gonna end up adding all these streaming sites that use Justin.tv into one plugin. I'm not sure when I'll have time again, maybe by Sunday night.

Ha! I just figured it out.

If you go to the site, double cklick on the video it will bring you to the users page. (look at the url)
Simply search for the user and presto, you've got video!

If you could get that site working it would be a god send. I would love to watch things like the world series with my xbox, on the rez I can't pick up many tv stations, I'm in the middle of nowhere. I can watch it on my PC but it's just not the same.

Any help would be appreciated - i'm trying to use jtv as my first script in XBMC, and nobody else seems to have any issue using it but... when I run the file default.py that is installed with the script, I get a little popup saying script failed. I have logging on and this is returned (again, thanks for any help)

also, it's probably a good idea to wrap some tags round the code when you post it, to save it taking up the whole page. this can be done using the icons in the top right of the "go advanced" reply option.

Anymore? The rtmp library in XBMC is not able to play password protect streams. If it attempts to, it will get an error and cause XBMC to crash. I added an error check to prevent this from happening. From the testing I've done, I didn't notice any false positives.

Do you have a particular stream that used to work but doesn't?

Ok let me explain: I use a plugin named ATDHE.Net in combination with Justin.TV plugin.
I put all the links that I want to watch mainly privates one locally in my network and made the plugin point to there.
Then I'm able watch private channels with XBMC.

Now since the update even with the password built in the link I get
the error.
I understand you solve a crash problem when someone hit a private
channel, but for me became a problem

I hope there is a work around for this problem.

I just made an update. I added a dialog to warn users about private streams. You either continue to start the stream or exit. Under the plugin settings, there is an option to disable this dialog. By default, the dialog is enabled.

I am still curious on how you were able to play private streams because it's not possible.

Like I said was necessary to use a ATDHE.Net plugin conbined with Justin.tv plugin in order to work.

Was this ever possible or could it ever become possible? Today I set up a private stream of my living room on jtv. I access this from the bedroom fine but only if it's not private. What steps can I take to make this private but still have access through xbmc for the stream?
