I just downloaded XBMC after struggling with Win MCE for some time and I really like it BUT, is there any way to get the MCE remote to work easily - I just dont understand all the stuff about running scripts etc!

Also, is there any way to have the slideshow and the music playing at the same time?

I downloaded Eventghost and stumbled on the first step:

"After starting EG, load the MCE Remote Plugin (say yes when asked about disabling HID for the remote control device)"

I clicked "open", navigated to the MCE Remote directory and EG could not find anything to open in there!

Any ideas?!
