XBMC crashes when trying to view recently added content or browsing movie library
#1
I ran into this problem, but I am using PPAs. And it occurs anytime I try to view recently added movies. I also noted that the crash occurs when I browse the movies ingeneral - it is as if fanart, or posters are creating an error, I get some issue about TIFFs.\

I am using the following
MediaStream skin
Mythbuntu 9.04
XBMC 9.04 r1414
i686

Can't see any obvious in the pastebin. Mind doing a new log showing the entire scan process?

OK so I redid this and I now have pastebin links to the xbmc.log (had debug on) and the terminal output - as I ran it from terminal.

xbmc.log:

terminal output:

bump again... sorry

AS an update I found that this appears to be happening with several recently added movies.

Curious case of Benjamin Button
Harry Potter #5
The Unborn

I am using IMDB as the scraper.

Bumping again, I tried removing the files, changing the scraper and re-adding, I still have problems.

What is the best tool for editing the db in Linux? I think I will just mark the files as watched for the meantime.

I sorted it myself by backing up my userdata, purging the install, and installing the whole thing again. I moved to the SVN releases so I could try MediaStream Redux.
