i have xbmc set up on my XP system and my Ubuntu hardy 8.04 system
I have added scripts, programs, and plugins in my xbmc on my windows XP and they all work fine
I have copied those same folders such as programs scripts music and videos to my ubuntu system in the "home/<me>/.xbmc/" correct places
however, when I run it, xbmc shows my PROGRAMS section as empty, the SNV repo installer is also missing, and only has the "Add Source" option.

what am I doing wrong or what could I do?
any suggestions would help thanks

could you try to dowload a script or plugin to test if your setup is the problem or the copied files from your windows machine?

also check if you have execute rights on the copied files. Or just make yourself owner of them.
