I have uPNP enabled, I can see the XBMC on the Xbox 360. But the Xbox cannot see media I have added to the uPNP Media sources.

Any Idea on what I am Missing...

That is correct. Read and follow this:

Same goes for music:

Nod

Pictures does not work over UPnP since XBMC does not yet have a picture library, see:

I hope it's ok to continue in this thread. I think I searched pretty thoroughly, and this was the closest thing I could find to my question.

Anyway, I was wondering if there was anyway to watch streaming content from a plugin (like the NBC plugin) on my 360? I tried adding the plugin on the UPnP server settings, but that didn't seem to do anything. I can't figure out any way to add video from a plugin to the library.

Thanks,
Puma

Hopefully that is good enough keywords - sidestepping topic here, but i couldn't find anything myself that supports Streaming 1080p and 720p to Playstation 3, and i figured one out, after a bit of f***ing around.

MVK DOES NOT PLAY - completly unsupported by PS3, container format only, but the way it contains audio and video leaves it unable to be decoded by PS3

M2TS Plays through external HDD, but not through uPNP (not for me anyway)
FIX this by changing .m2ts to .mpg - don't guarantee this will work, but of all the files i've tride so far that are m2ts and played off hdd have played through uPNP.

things I KNOW : h.264 Works - don't know about x264 yet (don't have any)
Dolby Digital AVC1 Works (Sony Home Theater, HDMI) - will try with one of my DTS files later (may need to recode one from mkv first, could take a while - but think dts is unsupported)
wmv container also seams to work. 720p file plays (may be downscaled by xbmc though, quality looks off) - VC-1 audio, sorry not sure of video, upping files at the mo, no access

Good Luck to HD viewers out there - Let us Pray for Sony to put mkv file format into a future firmware, will make all our lives a little easier.

Have a bit of update from my post here. Definately will help any PS3 owners that don't know this already. May even help 360 owners.

Also think that his problem was in part due to the fact that I think you are unable to parse into Directories on your uPNP media, you must include a direct link to file (point to EXACT directory, not a folder of folders - had to do it for the PS3) or get it loaded into the media library (Although, it think it has something to do with the number of TREE folders that one can either read (360/PS3 or that one can serve (XBMC) - i think max of 3 internal folder till file - that includes the two that XBMC Makes to split catergories). Sorry i can't be more specific but i did read about some tree parsing limitations for one (if not all) of the systems somewhere.

Hopefully this helps someone.
