I was wondering if direct support for irtrans is going to be added to XBMC-Live.
Im using an origen ae case with built in lcd and it works on in windows including the LCD, But would like to move to linux to get the benifits of accelerated playback but adding irtrans and lcd support for linux seens very complicated

Direct support for apt is there. So you can do what you want.
