I'm finished with this mod now for a number of reasons (mainly because it's gone on far too long and taken up too much of my free time - time which I really wanted to use making my own skin) but anyone is welcome to carry on if they so wish.

Instead I'll be working on Alaska.


PLEASE NOTE: Latest SVN version of XBMC needed (found here) and you'll also need the latest fonts (extract to your Aeon folder).

After you've got all the files you'll only need to download the aeon.rar to get any future updates unless otherwise stated.

NOTE 1: For the Weather forecasts you'll need install and enable (under Weather options) the Weather.com Plus Plugin which you can download using the SVN Repo Installer

NOTE 2: The 'cheat method' for media flagging (info stored in the Studio tag) is no longer used because XBMC now officially supports native media flagging.
You need to enable 'Extract Media Metadata Information' or use a Media Manager to create NFOs with the data.

NOTE 3: To use Conditional Weather Backdrops you must select the weather backdrop folder under Customisation.

NOTE 4: See here for the TV Show/Season Landscape (16x9) images

Great work getting rid of the pointless view change screen, though it does feel strange at first. and the file manager is a welcome bonus, as i did not manage to get it working correctly on my current version. keep it up

Great to see the mod on github - downloading it now. Removing the view change screen should also increase the usability when using the Launcher script for the Games link. This way the view change screen doesn't always popup when selecting Games.

view selection so we could have more than the default 4 view unless we use conditions.

Saves me a looooooooot of time... I was actually gonna try and have it stay the
same type of selection except that the 1st time you select it, you are selecting
the view "group" and then it gives you 4 more choices for the actual view.

This would effectively give you a possible total of 16 views... Anyway, glad i
don't have to attempt this now and get frustrated

Maybe now i can revisit another mod i was working on and abandoned
because of the limited views...

How do I get to the poster view for tv shows?

Nothing happens when I try to change away from the multiplex view.

Also when choosing fanart backdrops in the customize settings, the file browse selection is 1 selection too much up.

You have to unlock the other views for TV Shows in the settings.

Before you had watched status icon overlay fixed now it's back to auriga status, that is that it's hiding behind the episode thumb.

One more thing. One thing that djh has forgotten is to put EPISODE and SEASON as localized strings. So when I have my skin set to Swedish I get EPISODE instead of AVSNITT.
