Background music

Is it possible to allocate a piece of music as background music that plays in a loop while you are just browsing through xbmc.

Basically you load xbmc and music starts. You play music or video and background tune stops. When you exit movie or music after about 2-3 seconds ( or what ever ) the background music fades back in.

I watched the XBMC AEON skin mod - ken burns type effect video

and listening to it made me think how cool it would be to have this.

The skyTV program guide type effect is what I am after

Yeah, I'd like to see this as an option too - especially when browsing Pictures/slideshow.

The idea itself is good, at least to have an option to those who want this.

Personally I think it would be irritating to have a song or melody start every time I switched between videos or other songs..

..but I guess you could have it start after x-seconds after you stopped a video or song.

Why not put this under the XBMC Feature Request:

Why not just go to music first and put on some nice tracks and then go to pictures/slideshow? Smile
