i recommend the karmic version as its more stable runs better.

though there is a xbmc bug that prevents upgrade of stable 9.11 to svn ppa, the workaround was to purge 9.11 and apt-get install xbmc xbmc-data etc etc.

Thx for this nice script! It did a great job.
I am fully able to play all movies from my network on my XBMC Zotac ION running with Ubuntu. But i am experiencing problems when running 1080p videos (mkv/x264).
It just not fluently, stuttering. Not watchable.

- I have installed the latest nvidia 195 using bitpins script.
- I have activated the VDPAU support in options.

I am able to play the videos on the same machine using windows 7 and xbmc without stuttering. So it shouldn't be a network problem.

Any idea what i could do to fix it?
