Hi all,
I have a problem with XBMC not displaying subtitle when using MPC HC as external player.
At first i used XBMC's original player to play the file, it worked perfectly, with subtitle displayed and all.
Then due to CPU usage issue (i got some lagging due to 100% CPU), i looked for external player settings. After that CPU usage went down (only 20 - 30% CPU now), but no subtitle was displayed.
I can use the XBMC control panel to manually select the subtitle or browse the subtitle, but nothing happens.
Can someone show me how to get this right ? Thank you very much!

As you said yourself your not using xbmc your launching an external player so you need to configure that to give you subs not xbmc

uhm when i play the file using MPC HC all subtitles are fine. i use internal subtitle renderer and it works fine.
is there any augment i need to add to advancedsettings.xml and playercorefactory.xml ?

dont know how the "/sub" one works with internal subs. but these are the available switches for mpchc.
