So, i've just built a new htpc with xbmc on top of ubuntu 9.04 and most everything is working, but i cannot for the life of me get my damn 890 harmony remote to work without a ton of lag. All of the button presses are eventually performed, but with about a 500-1000 millisecond delay. So if i press down three times, it will go down, pause, go down, pause and then go down. No new commands can be given in the mean time.

I've got the veris RM200 that came with the case working without issue, and it is very responsive. I just can't get the harmony to successfully emulate it.

I've tried:
RAW commands
setting it as a soundgraph imon pad remote
setting it as black fusion
setting it as antec fusion remote max (my actual case)

I also cannot get irw to output any commands from anything but the original remote. otherwise i'd just set it as an mce remote.

Freaking everything works but this (and the stupid lcd). its driving me batty.
