Hi all,
I want a plugin to show a 3 or 4 page document with pictures. Is such a thing possible?

it should be possible, not that its going to be easy using python.. but there are COM objects to access documents. guessing you are meaning word documents.

HTML would be easiest if I want images, but to be honest plain text would be perfectly acceptable.
A paragraph or two with a link to the next page is the kind of thing I'm wanting.

HTML is also tricky, you need to write some sort of htmlparser.. plain text is simpler.
