I iTunes I have carefully tagged the album artists correctly. All compilation albumtracks have the same album artist, so if I browse by album artist I only see artists for who I have complete albums. I never use regular "artist" as the list is simply too long.

any way to get album artist? I really like it.

I noticed XBMC has no album artist option. I did see compilations, will that use the itunes compilations tag or another?
