How should one name files in a TV show directory so that the scrapper can download their episode plot summary, meta data etc.? Is this something the user has to do for each file? I was under the impression that the scrapper would do this automatically and am wondering if the filename or dir name is important.

Yeah, the wiki is still a Work In Progress. They're working to make it more useful and versatile.
