Didnt want Webmin but combo of changes to Samba and permissions 0777 for folders and via SABnzbd did the trick - thanks.

Now, care to advice how to get these boxes to hibernate after say 10 mins of no HDD activity? Otherwise SAB will be running 24/7 and box doesnt need that...

Yeah very interesting but doesnt actually answer many questions, especially since it is skewed to 8.04 or earlier.

In any case the only help there is gnome-power-manager which is bugger all use without a Gnome Desktop!?!??!!
