As the title suggests, I'd like to be able to select different versions of a given film without adding multiple library entries. At the moment I'm thinking primarily of 3D content, though it obviously applies to alternate/director's cuts. Maybe it's just a fad, but 3D seems to be catching on again recently. As a result, my library has several duplicate entries - one for 2D, one for 3D. At the moment, there are only a few instances of this, but one could easily imagine it becoming messy with enough versions (currently I'm distinguishing between them by simply changing the title on the 3D version to Movie Name 3D).
Ideally, I'd like to have a default version from the library view, with the ability to select an alternate from a menu (movie information, OSD? something like that).
Admittedly, a pretty niche feature - anyone else see a use for this?
