the problem i have with pictures showing happens with and without slideshow.

when i am browsing my pictures, i can't view any that are in portrait aspect (taller than wide, taken with the camera sideways).

with 4mp images (1704x2272) in portrait mode i used to get blank screens, and now i get the "out of memory" message instead.

this was not a problem with my older 2.11mp camera.

is this due to the image libs as well?

4mp images should be fine, though it will depend on what screenmode you are running in. even 1080i should work fine though according to some rough memory calculations.

i'm going to add an option to xboxmediacenter.xml so that people can check the memory level.
