i was looking around for a small HTPC system and i found this system..
what you guys think?

The hardware looks pretty good. Should be able to handle everything you throw at it. Has a nice Nvidia GPU if you want to use the hardware accelerated video decoding on Linux but a fast enough CPU if you want to go with Windows. You should also be able to use it as a basic gaming machine.

But the price is a bit high if you consider that it comes without any optical drive and with no hard disk. If you don't mind spending the time you could save big time by building this yourself. You might get all the hardware listed in the auction for about $300 to $350. With $450 you should be done completely with optical drive and hard disk.

I think it's slightly expensive for what you get, you can build something similar for less money yourself, have a look here for some ideas.
