I am using a m$oft media center remote, which works fine for a while. I have tried both windows drivers in the 'lirc' install and both work initially, but both exhibit the same problem. The problem is when I am scrolling down or really using the control in any way, it will periodically freeze. After the freeze, the keyboard will continue working, but the remote will never work until after a reboot. Log shows nothing when this happens.

I have tried everything I can think of in the bios, and OS, to no avail. I really love the XBMC interface, but it does not work if it freezes periodically.

Ideas? What should I try here? Anyone seen this before?
