Hi there,
I am trying to configure my ASUS S-presso Remote Control by activating the <displayremotecodes> tag as instructed in http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=Advancedsett...tecodes.3E

1.) I created the file AdvancedSettings.xml in folder XBMC\userdata
2.) File contains the following:

<advancedsettings>

[INDENT]<displayremotecodes>true</displayremotecodes>

[/INDENT]

</advancedsettings>

3.) I re-started XBMC

... but nothing is happening, I CAN'T SEE any codes displayed on the screen at all!!!!.

I am using XBMC Rev.23436(dx)... does this has anything to do?. FYI, tried as well with XBMC 9.04.1 Repack2 for Windows with the same results.

Is it that I am doing smthng wrong (missing step, etc.)?

Is then possible to 'program' another remote control somehow?.

Can anyone guide me on how do I 'program' de ASUS S-presso remote control to work with XBMC??. I've read the wiki but I don't know where to start. Once I am succesful I will gladly share the results with everybody else in this forum interested in such hardware.
