my fan art is downloading for my tv series but for my films it isnt and when i do a fresh scan for new content it freezes

You should try replacing the imdb.xml file in your xbmc\system\scrapers\video folder with this: imdb.xml or if that doesn't work, then upgrade your XBMC build.

Make sure to backup your UserData folder to save your library, fanart, etc.

i only tried imdb because i has the same problem with moviedb

tried a new build and its still the same, can i delete any information on the movies and start again without deleting my tv series?

I have the same problem, but it looks like http://www.themoviedb.org is down, which causes the problem imho.

that would make sence, altho i can see fan art with there tv website?

Looks like it might be up tomorrow, but not sooner than that at this point.
