skin folder empty when sFTPing to the PC
#1
I sFTP to my Ubuntu minimal install with XBMC and enter the skin folder which is empty. Is this because I have logged in with the XBMC user and this user can't see the files? I have PM3HD and Aeon Showmix installed and I assume that they should be in the skin folder under the XBMC folder?

They could be in your ~/.xbmc folder as well. Can you see the files if you ssh into the box and change to /usr/share/xbmc/skins/ ?

boy oh boy I learned alot today :-)

Well skins are placed in usr/share/xbmc/skin and you need root access to edit the files, which can be done with sudo passwd root in putty. Hehe what a new world this Linux business.
