Hoping someone can help me out,
I used xbmscript to setup xbmc on my new asrock 330. I have a USB coverted Xbox dvd dongle and a Harmony 520 remote.
In xbmscript, I chose xbox dvd remote in the setup and have use of the basic xbox remote buttons. I have added both the original xbox and xbox media center extender into my devices on the logitech setup.
My problem is that I am trying to follow the various guides in setting up the extra soft buttons to do the following things:
update library
go to video library
go to tv show libray
shutdown menu
suspend/wake the asrock
No matter what how to and guide I try to follow I just can't seem to get it to work. I have a feeling I am supposed to edit my lircmap.xml and adjust my remote.xml to reflect it. I am just not sure how.
I think what I need is a template of each that would reflect what I want. Or, perhaps I did something wrong by using xbmscript, maybe it set up some parameters incorrectly for what I want to achieve. The remote works great aside from setting those commands listed above.
Hoping for help to make this setup perfecto~!
thanks.
