Weird overscan problem...
#1
Hey, I just got a new TV, which unfortunately has overscan :< Anyways, I managed to "fix" it, using catalyst's overscan adjustion... Now there's only one problem: As long as I'm in the UI or the music player, everything is fine, but as soon as I enter the video player, I get a short blue screen as if the tv was switching modes and then I get the video player with those damn black overscan borders... Does anybody know why that happens or how to fix it?
Cheers,

I had a very simular issue with my onboard Radeon.
I spent weeks playing with ATI drivers and the end solution had noting to do with the PC at all.
The solution for me was to set the picture size on the TV to "Fit Screen".
So, have a look at the TV setting as well as the display settings on the PC.

Unfortunately, my TV doesn't seem to have that option :<
EDIT: I just found that option, but it doesn't really help too much... If I enable it and disable overscan in catalyst, I get exactly the same problem... Here's a little video to demonstrate: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ppGRrxLk2k
Notice how the screen flashes after I select the video and how I get black borders afterwards.
EDIT2: Works now, bobo1on1 pointed out to disable "adjust refreshrate" Smile
