Minibox M200LCD?
#1
I am looking at this case for my XBMC HTPC build.

However, I have few questions:

1.) Spec says 2.5" HDD is supported, will a 3.5" fit in this case? 2.5" drives are hard to find, and expensive

2.) Is the LCD display really that useful in XBMC? What functionality can you get out of it? I remember the old SmartX LCDs for the Xbox, but never could justify buying one back then.

3.) Zotac Ion board I plan to buy (Atom 330) has an external PSU. How would this work with this case?

4.) I have read that the the Zotac boards won't fit this case with the CPU fan. Is passive cooling sufficient with the ION 330?

I plan to run XBMC on top of a minimal Ubuntu install, or just install XBMC Live to HDD.

I will be going with a Zotac Ion 330, 2 GB of RAM, 1 TB Seagate HDD. I am scrapping the optical drive since there is no opensource library for playing back blu-ray, so this case would work well.

I am looking for small form-factor case, close to set-top box size. If this case will not work, and recommended cases that meet these requirements? Thanks for any suggestions. This is going to be a fun build!
