I have not created a keyboard skin yet to show off the alt features/other new functionality. If anyone fancies doing a keyboard skin let me know.

I'm quite new to XBMC and this item is very interesting but I checked and it seems further development was never persued....was it ?

I'm happy to continue on app if any one wants additional functionality / fixes etc. I have even been considering porting code also to android and iPhone. Let me know and I'll pick up the reigns again.
