I am having issues bringing in any information with the scrapers. I have checked all files, put the date at the end in () but still nothing. I can see them scanning at the top. Any advice?

Sure. However my glass bowl just failed so I can't see your folder structure or filenames ;-) All I know is that you've put a date in them.

The Dark Knight (2008).MKV
The Incredibles (2004).MKV
When I scan the folder, at the top I can see each movie getting scanned but when it is complete and I look in the folder there is nothing. No Fan Art, Description, zero. Just a movie generated cover and that is it.
