The stable version for Jaunty 9.04 was quick and ran well. When I run this compiled from the svn or downloading the alphas or beta's it runs but at less than a frame per minute. I have to wait for ever for my keystokes to take effect to get to the power off button and close the program.

So I was wondering if it was just my slow computer isn't supported anymore, or if xbmc isn't optimized yet.

I run a similiar setup and don't have any issues. Are your problems only when playing video?

It's a known problem and it has to do with your videocard. See this thread for more information (especially page 6).

the program it's self running has the issue. srry for waiting a while to check back. thanks for the replys. i'll check out that thread
