I used Mediamonkey with minilyrics to download offline lyrics for some test music.
When running with CU it does not display the synced lyrics and I am also
not able to close the CU lyrics screen once opened and thus have to kill
XBMC to get out.
Can I do something to fix it?

CU Lyrics doesnt work with lrc lyrics, but LRC Lyrics does

if anyone is willing to test, version 0.9.9 is on github

install it using "Install from zip file" option in Add-ons manager

it has 2 new scraper services that should hopefully replace lyricwiki

K thanks I understand.
Installed 0.9.9, looks good, however I still have issues when after launching
the lyrics windows it won`t close for me when pressing escape or hitting
the close button on the lyrics window.
You can test it by trying to open and close the lyrics window a number of times
while the same song plays...

how soon after launching it are you trying to close it?

the script attempts to download lyrics for the next song as well, maybe that is whats holding it up.

perhaps amet you could get the last remaining item that needs to be in xbmc for xbmc lyrics to work. it won't fix the settings, but the script should run.

I'll speak to Jonathan and see if there is a reason that is not in, it wont go in Dharma though

Thought I'd let you know some features you might consider implementing:
1. Auto running CU Lyrics when entering the visualization full screen mode
2. Option for font size
3. Option to auto size the CU Lyrics "pane" rather than scrolling long lines

Thanks for the addon script. This is a really great feature to have!

I agree with the above suggestions. Especially the window size, if we could somehow have a configuration option to change the window size to various scales (1/2, 1/4, 1/8,...) relative to the TV screen.

I'd like to add some keymaps in to the keyboard.xml file to do different things whilst CU is running. Which section of the keyboard.xml file do I do this in?

Is there any way to add this script to favorites like in previous editions? I'm using 10.0 and there is no launch button in PM3.HD so I'd like to just add it to favorites.

Can someone explain how to get the lyrics to show?

I just upgraded to XBMC 10 (Confluence) and everything is all different. I have the script enabled and set up in the skin, but the only thing that shows on the screen is album art.

Is there a magic button I'm missing?

When you are on the visualisation screen, bring up the menu (the one that allows you to pause/rewind/fast forward etc..) and then it is the first icon on the top row to the right of the split.

Thanks I eventually found hidden a few pages back instructions to press Tab M--now that's not very obvious, is it? Once you do that, though, it's nice and pretty

So many questions on this new version, the version I was using before went straight into library mode and on this one I can't even figure out how to get INTO library mode I'm stuck in file mode and it's very frustrating, I can manually add stuff to the queue but can't see the queue? I suppose there are more hidden menus somewhere.
