I'm building a digital picture frame and think I want to use XBMC for the software. I need it only to show Weather and Pictures. How can I remove the other items from the menu?

Also, can I use a key command to startup the screensaver? I'd like weather to be my default view and then view pictures by running the screensaver.

Any other suggestions?

Completely skin dependent. Most recent ones will allow you to choose what's at the home screen in skin settings. Where to access these settings is, again, skin dependent.

Yeah that's what I thought and I thought I had removed Video, TV, etc from the menu but they still were there. Tried it on all 3 default themes.

I've set mine up as DPF and weather as shown here using Aeon Nox on a Raspberry Pi running raspbmc, but it will be a very similar process on XBMC.
