Most everything worked fine for me, once I reinstalled the nVidia drivers. The one issue I have is that the output volume is extremely low. I checked all the levels with alsamixer and everything is maxed out. I really have to crank the volume on my television to hear anything. With Babylon and beta 1 I've had no problems.

Otherwise, good work guys.

Great Job from the Devs.
Specially i love the new way of HDD installation. Makes a lot more freedom.

Congrats to Luigi and the Devs.

Current problems after install.

  1. Previous display settings won't work. VDPAU setting shown however. I replaced the config with my previous 1080p config and XBMC didn't start.

  2. Where is the home folder - can't seem to find in during FTP?

  3. Unable to change volume whilst playing a film.
Any soloutions?

Thanks in advance

Rob
I will buy you a virtual beer if you help me sort out this remote...

Most things work well but...

1. Have not found "eject" for DVD after playing (DVD inserted - no option to eject).
2. Crashes in justin-tv
3. Cannot play some DVD's (District 9 for instance)

Also, any news on the Netflix/Hulu front?

Overall, really nice job!

I was using 9.0.4 on my Revo 1600 and upgraded to RC1.

RC1 seems to have issues playing HD content for me. ITs very jittery like its having a hard time playing the movie. This was not an issue in 9.0.4 for me at all.

Ok, after doing mroe reading I found that I needed to update my NVIDIA drivers after installing RC1. I went back and re-installed RC1, did the update, then did the aptitude update/upgrade to 9.1.1 final and so far everything looks great.

I only need one thing. Since my HTPC doesn't have a keyboard I can't select on startup the nvidia option since the installing is to set as default. In version 8.04 i had to simply modify the syslinux.cfg file but with camelot it doesn't work.
Can anyone tell me how to do it properly ?

I'm trying to scan a TV show - Firefly. I've tried to eliminate all possible causes as to why it won't scan. I'm running out of ideas. Are m2ts files supported for TV Shows?

I have the following:
Firefly/S01E10.mt2s
and it won't scan. Other folders will, ie Stargate Universe/Stargate.Universe.S01E07.blahblahblah.mkv

Try changing your file names to :

Firefly/Firefly.S01E10.mt2s

and report back if that works.

The standard that MythSExx uses is fully supported by XBMC.
/Stargate universe/Stargate Universe.S01E10 (blabla blahbla).mkv
Use mythicalLibrarian to make a library out of your MythTV files. Leave the recording to MythTV and use XBMC as your library.

Actually there were several problems - XBMC apparently doesn't like this series and has problems scraping it. MIP scrapes it, but doesn't mark episodes as they show on the Bluray. MIP created nfo files with 2 successive periods in the name which XBMC didn't like. Last, MIP created a tag in the series nfo that caused errors when loading into XBMC.

I'm having the same exact problem. I'm completely illiterate when it comes to coding and haven't been able to find a solution anywhere.
