#1
Hi

Since few revision, the quicktime playback seems to be broken. Was working ok one week ago ( i don't remember revision version ) .

Each time I launch a local .mov ( mpeg4 avc ), or a quicktime trailer form the apple trailer light plugin, XBMC crash with segfault.

xbmc svn rev 25935.
Lunux Debian testing ( Squeeze ), kernel 2.6.30
Nvidia driver 195.22

Here is the crashlog:

bump.

Just to be sure i don't have a kind of library problem or something else, am I the only one experiencing xbmc segfault with Quicktime movies on linux, vdpau enabled ( local or streamed with Apple plugin ) ?

Select Software render method and report back if it's still crashing. Sounds like a known issue that will be addressed after the upcoming release.

It was a libfaad 2 issue.

By the way, for info, now it tries to use VDPAU for MPEG 4 part 2 movies ( xvid, etc ) with a GF9300 chip, and then crash.

That's the known issue I was talking about. Mind filing a bug report so we can track it?
