XBMC: 9.11 Camelot [fresh install]
System: Acer AspireRevo 1600
Remote: ati_remote_wonder_rf (5000023600)
Receiver: USB RF Receiver #500016000
Followed the guide on this thread: http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=464347&postcount=4
I've run:
sudo dpkg-reconfigure lirc
-> ATI/NVidia/X10 RF Remote (userspace)
-> Transmitter: none
sudo /etc/init.d/lirc restart
Then I copied:
- Keymap.xml
- Lircmap.xml
into /home/me/xbmc/userdata/ using SFTP.
Reboot.
No dice.
Using irw, the commands/buttons are being received so it is working.
I've also verified that the codes match in /usr/share/lirc/remotes/atiusb/lircd.conf.atilibusb
I've been through a whole slew of threads/tutorials & how-tos to no avail. (Search, search, search!)
Also had the unfortunate luck of purchasing an IR MCE remote with an incompatible receiver (http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=465196&postcount=2)
Any help is appreciated.
Merry Christmas!
