[LIVE] All Mode's "Rejected"
#1
Been googling/searching for the last week or so trying to fix the ModeLines for my TV. It's a hitachi 42" Plasma and it looks shakey/grainy txt.

Setup is an Acer Revo using an HDMI cable, live with the package that came out Christmas (Camelot)

I hooked my laptop up to it and was able to get these modelines from PowerStrip:

Code:
Native/preferred timing.. 1920x1080i at 60Hz (16:9)
    Modeline............... "1920x1080" 74,250 1920 2008 2052 2200 1080 1084 1094 1124 interlace +hsync +vsync
  Detailed timing #1....... 720x480p at 60Hz (4:3)
    Modeline............... "720x480" 27,000 720 736 798 858 480 489 495 525 -hsync -vsync

However, when I run through nvidia-xconfig and check my piped Xlog, I get the following

Code:

So, do the modes just need to be added, or are they not going to be supported at all? I just want my 1080i @ 60hz.

Also, I wanted to add that it is working just fine. The "default" displays work, and I can scroll through the resolutions, I just want to fix this wobble/grainy text.

Got the same problem with my Mac Mini and the Samsung 46A656-Screen...

Update: I've removed all manually added entries to the xorg.conf, and now they are shown as valid again. I still do not have them available in the XBMC-Menu, but it's a step.

I removed things like
Quote:Option "DynamicTwinView" "false"
and other Options i've included after searching the forums.

Thanks for the help. I'll give that a shot. Been busy with holidays. Maybe if I get it showing as valid I can run through the rest of the steps to get it taken care of.
