I installed xbmc on a usb stick and booted it like a normal hdd, and a xorg.conf was created (working perfectly with the nvidia driver). I did not change the hardware Then I booted the live cd image (filesystem.squashfs) and mentioned, that there was no /etc/X11xorg.conf. I unpacked the filesystem.squashfs and added the xorg.conf to it (not doing anything else) and repacked it. after booting the new filesystem squashfs, xbmc did not start up, neither did fluxbox ( startx did not work) but there was a Xorg.0.log.old (probably created at boot up): http://pastebin.com/m4b66445 and a Xorg.0.log (probably created, when I typed in startx): http://pastebin.com/m23926848 . As far as I can see, the problem is, that the kernel modules are not loaded. But I dont know much about that, I hope someone can help.
