I'm coming from a WMC utilizing a plugin called 'MediaBrowser' and a IMDB+ fetching program called 'MetaBrowser', which was nicely configured but too many bugs to contain on my Win 7/64. This has left my movies in a genre hierarchy with an individual folder for each movie containing; folder.jpg Backdrop.jpg and mymovies.xml of which only the 'folder.jpg' thumbnail shows up and I'm wondering if I can use the backdrops and .xml for anything or do I have to move all the backdrops to the cache area and toast the .xml's?

I'm exploring the limits of XBMC at the moment, perhaps I need a new skin for the backdrops to show up...?

TIA

I hate answering my own posts... but after a few days of poking through the messages, I'm no longer ahead. But by accident I discovered the full screen artwork is called 'fanart' with an image extension... .png or .jpg and is inside individual folders that contain the video. I suspect that fanart2 fanart3 etc allows for a slideshow affair... (untested at the this point). I tried the theme transparency! and wasn't sure it was going to work... from the way the pages information is laid out... it looks like it only works on the XBOX.. well I'm enjoying it on a PC win7/64 which should encourage others to try more themes and report back with ya or nay votes.

Well can't leave a message without asking another question... can I use/convert the .xml files I've collected for each movie in XBMC or are they throw away effort now?

TIA:
