Hi All,

Sorry if this is a silly question with an answer somewhere already (please point me to it if there is)

I'd like to custom the big XMBC start up splash, i had a ticker in the boot/splash.xmp.gz file but it didn't seem to change the main logo boot.

I don't want to remove it but just ad some icons under it to make it a bit more custom.

any pointer would be great.

i have the same question but for the ubuntu oneiric. i have tried the wiki but with no success.

No usplash from Lucid and newer ubuntus. Newer versions use Plymouth. If you go deeper into that thread above, there is a link to other plymouth themes that are skin specific. Personally, I live the generic one in post # 20. Hope this helps.
